- It seems that if someone disagrees with what is going on, then they are
- to be ignored? I am a registered Scala owner for the Amiga. I have
- stated that I love the product and use it extensivley in my video work.
- I appreciate how easy it is to use, yet how powerful it is. My concern
- though is that after MM400 there might not be anymore support for the
- Amiga. Yes, I have read the Amiga Report IRC. I have read Mr. Chang's
- messages here. And they are very optimistic about the MM100 (and
- knowing what they have done already with Scala, I the app must be a
- 'killer' product). I see nothing wrong with making products for other
- platforms. They are in business to make money, and what platform has
- the greatest potential. The PC. But there is this nagging feeling that
- unless there is a PowerAmiga that is sold in large enough quantities,
- there really wont be any more Amiga upgrades. Reading Mr. Chang's
- messages said "if". That to me means "no" until those "if's" are met.
- Right now, we have no idea what is going to happen to the Amiga. Sold
- again. Mr. Chang says that my view is myopic. I tend to think that it
- is realistic with the information that I have. I sincerely hope that I
- am wrong, but until someone (Mr. Chang, Viscorp, AT) tell me
- otherwise... And telling me that there are things that cant be said
- about future upgrades doesnt help either. IF they were going to
- continue upgraded the Amiga in it's present form, then say so. It will
- go a long way in stopping all the 'doomsayers'.... including me.
